Usually what happens is that the Windows OS does not allow users to
lock the bitlocker enabled drive once it is opened. They will only
lock the drive if you restart the system.
But here is a trick to lock a bitlocker enabled drive even when the
system is running.
Open the cmd as administrator ( Press WinKey + x)
Type the following:
manage-bde -lock:E
Note: Here E is the drive letter I want to lock. It might vary in
your
case.
